Clearing trail in Butte

While preparing for the 2026 Copper Kings 100, we were busy working on Continental Divide Trail and trails in and around the Moulton cross country ski area.

We worked with the USFS and other groups at the annual Pete Sorini Day trail work day, plus we worked solo as well as with a group of sawyers to open trails in and around the Moulton ski area.

We didn’t take many photos, a teachable moment that we’ll learn from for next year, but here are a few from the June 6 2026 Pete Sorini Day trail party.
